Arisa Kazuki[]
At the end of Episode 7, when Anzu saw Arisa's text message recently sent on Tsukasa Kazuki's phone, she thought that he had recently gotten a girlfriend named Arisa.
In Episode 8, Anzu eventually meets Arisa when the latter rescues her from a group of men she accidentally bumps into. After chasing the men away, Arisa then introduces herself as "Tsukasa's big sister." Anzu becomes awestruck by her stunning looks and comments on how "legendary good looks run in your family.", causing Tsukasa to call her "an idiot."
Tsukasa Kazuki[]
Anzu first met Tsukasa when she breaks his phone, but her first impressions of him came when she saw him at school the very next day. At first, she thinks that Tsukasa is a cold person and a jerk after she saw him reject a girl in front of the subway. However, that impression of him changed when she ran out of the rain to escape a bug and convinced Tsukasa to kill it when he ran into her. Riri sets up a storm to trap the two inside for the night and flood his apartment. Anzu offers to pay for his phone, however he refuses and asks to stay at her house for the next month. In exchange, Tsukasa will help to cook food, do chores, and kill bugs for her. Despite the fact she is doing what Riri wants her to do, Anzu agrees since she can not turn her back for a friend in need.
Throughout the series, she grows closer and closer to Tsukasa as friends, completely oblivious of his feelings. There have been countless times where she helped Tsukasa out of trouble. In Episode 4, Anzu refused to help Rena and Yukika out so Rena could have a chance to become Tsukasa’s girlfriend, stating that Tsukasa is not interested in dating right now and she did not want to force something that he doesn't want.
In Episode 11, Anzu comforts Tsukasa after he reveals his reason for living on his own, saying “I would of believed you when no one else did.” From this point on, she continued to help him avoid Yukana. When Riri says they will "remove him as her love interest" since he is giving a risk to her life, Anzu calls them a heartless jerk and kicks them out. Even when Anzu was hurt, she yelled at Yukana that she will never leave Tsukasa alone if Yukana kept pestering her.
After Anzu was hospitalized for the cut Yukana gave her, Tsukasa's father came to apologize for the trouble Tsukasa had supposedly caused and started to take him away. Anzu intervened and scolded him for not understanding what he went through, as she took Tsukasa's hand and lead him home.
Junta Hayami[]
Anzu and Junta used to play Cat Ranger when they were in elementary school before Ryuya intentionally separated them. She referred to Junta as “Tonta” throughout this time. With the help of Riri, they reunited much earlier then expected. Anzu is aware of Junta's feelings for her, and acts oblivious to hide it from him.
Hijiri Koganei[]
Anzu met Hijiri when she was running late for school and got hit by his car. As compensation, Hijiri takes her out on a date, but Anzu leaves halfway through saying that she is not interested in him. Anzu thinks he's arrogant, egotistical, and a narcissist after the incident.
The two of them work the same convenience store, and as much Anzu hates to admit it, she states that he's a hard worker, a quick learner, and diligent. Despite this, she considers him a friend, just annoying at times.
Saki Takamine[]
Saki is Anzu's best female friend at school. She continually looks out for her, even all the way back in junior high.
Ryuya[]
It is shown that Ryuya and Anzu knew each other since childhood as seen in Episode 9.
Riri[]
Riri is the magical entity that puts Anzu through an "otome" like game with the cost of her three greatest desires: video games, chocolate, and cats. When first introduced, Anzu grows a overwhelming hatred for Riri, mainly for the fact that they took items said above and she is put through a romance game.
In truth, Anzu realizes Riri is trying to learn "romance" outside of otome games, hence the mock date in Episode 8.
As the season progresses, she becomes accustomed to them and even tolerates them now, even becoming worried when Riri doesn't show up to annoy her. When her greatest desires mysteriously come back to her, Anzu learns from Kate that Riri is being forced to clean the basement after using magic for personal reasons. She becomes extremely furious at Kate and forcefully convinces her to bring Riri back. As Kate brings Riri back, Anzu thanks them for bringing her friends or "love interests" into her life, claiming that she would never choose her needs over her friends.
