Although Riri can be seen as annoying by Anzu, they are very caring and try everything in their power to make sure Anzu has a happy and romantic lifestyle. Through episodes 8-11 the bond between Anzu and Riri definitely grows stronger than before, Anzu even starts warming up to the energetic wizard.

It is hinted that Riri/Rio has a crush on Anzu, as Kate says later in the series that Riri/Rio used their magic for personal emotions. It is also hinted at the end of the first season, when Riri says “And she could still get with me!”
